I’m a music teacher located in Hamilton, New Zealand. I teach piano, keyboard and music theory. Over the years my students have ranged in age from preschool to retired age. I currently accept students from the age of 6+ (no upper limit!)
My approach to teaching centres on developing the student’s “musical self”: one’s musical sensitivity, ability, technique, confidence, and enjoyment. I try to bring a friendly, supportive yet structured & progress-oriented approach to learning the piano.
